Hello my name is David, EVC Studios is the creation of my friend and myself. For the past 6 years we have worked together on a few projects under the name while designing and developing websites.  It was never something that we really tried to develop into a full time job, we were both too busy with school and work. We primarily worked by word of mouth. Unfortunately as time has gone on we are unable to work as a team anymore.  So my wife and I are working together to create a new image for EVC Studios.

I have been working on websites for about 10 years now. I started working with websites when I was a freshman in high school. I was lucky enough to go to school in Anderson Indiana.  At the time my high school offered a program where you could focus your primary studies on the computer. Instead of having to turn in a paper on a subject, I would have to use the technology provided to present my project.  As others chose to make videos using the video studio, I chose to create websites and graphics to present my projects.  As my time in high school progressed my skill for websites continued to improve.

After I graduated in 2005 I immediately enrolled in college for graphic design.  While in college I continued to grow and improve my skills for graphics and web design.  This is when my designs really started to stand out.

After college I went on to work for a print company that is a fortune 100 company, which I still work for. Throughout my career with this company I have learned a massive amount about time management, customer service, and most importantly deadlines. I do not operate like most web designers out there and panic when presented with quick and urgent turn times.

During the past few years I have continued to develop my skill for designing websites.  I have been working with Content Management Systems (CMS), and believe that CMS websites are the way to go. During this time I have also been designing and developing websites on the side, mostly by word of mouth. My largest client so far has been Team Penske driver Will Power.

As many know the economy is not in the best shape and a lot of households are seeing hard times.  My household is no exception as we are facing some hard times at the moment.  Instead of blaming other people and feeling sorry for myself, I figured it is time to put my knowledge and skills to work.

So with my wife’s help we plan to take EVC Studios to an all new level. When I am not at my current job, my time will be focused primarily on EVC Studios.  We are going to take EVC beyond word of mouth, by hitting the streets and getting the name out there.

In today’s world a business can’t survive without a website, and that’s just the start of it.  In order for your website to be effective and get any type of web traffic to your website it needs to have more than just nice images and pretty colors. It needs to function and represent your company the best that it can.

You need to stand out from the crowed, not blend in.
